This is a sample page. It is different from a blog post because it stays in one place and shows up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It could say something like this:
Hi there! I’m a bike courier in daily life and a budding actor in the evenings, and this is my site. I live in Los Angeles, have a cute dog called Jack and I love piña coladas. (And getting caught in the rain.)
…Or something like this:
The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971 and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Based in Gotham City, XYZ employs more than 2,000 people and does all kinds of great things for the community in Gotham.
